Anna Nowacki

May 23, 1901 – January 27, 1989

Anna Nowacki, 87, of Medco Center-Ridgedale, died at 3am today in St Joseph Hospital, Mishawaka.  Mrs. Nowacki was an aide at the infirmary at Saint Mary’s College for 15 years.

She was born May 23, 1901, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.  On October 23, 1917, in South Bend, as Anna Hes, she married Frank X. Nowacki.  He died August 15, 1963.  She is survived by a daughter, Helen Harrell of South Bend; a son, Frank Jr. of Mishawaka; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a great great granddaughter.  A son, Robert, and grandson, Ronald Millcarek, preceded her in death.  She was a member of Ladies of St Hedwig Holy Rosary Society.

Services will be at 10am Monday in St Patrick’s Catholic Church.  Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery.  Friends may call from 2 to 9pm Sunday in Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be recited at 4pm.
