Dennis E. Northam

Dennis E. Northam, 62, residing on Lilac
Road, Lakeville, Ind., passed away of natural causes on Friday,
Jan. 8, at his winter residence in Apache Junction, Ariz.
Mr. Northam retired as the former
co-owner and operator of Janco Products in Mishawaka, Ind.
He was born on May 14, 1936, in LaPorte,
Ind., to the late Clela (Stoffel) and Leonard D. Northam. Dennis
was also preceded in death by a brother, Bernard Northam.
Dennis lived in Walkerton, Ind.,
most of his life, moving to Lakeville in 1982 and wintering in
Apache Junction for the past five years.
He was married on April 24, 1976,
in North Liberty, Ind., to the former Loretta ''Lonnie'' Berndt,
who survives.
He is also survived by two
daughters, Debbie (Tom) Hall of Bloomington, Ill., and Ronda
(John) Michael of South Bend, Ind.; two sons, Alan (Gala) Northam
of Mishawaka and Thomas (Renee) Williams of Lakeville; six
grandchildren, Troy Hall, John Michael, Dean Williams, Kristen
Northam, Tara Northam and Amanda Williams; five sisters, Cheryl
Hunsley of Pekin, Ill., Linnie (Dick) Hilde of Peoria, Ariz.,
Rogene (Jerry) Rankert of South Bend, Jerri (Dan) Jackson of
Mishawaka and Kimberly (Michael) Powle of Walkerton; and by three
brothers, Leonard (Debra) Northam of North Liberty, Ronald
Northam of South Bend and Gregory Northam of Plymouth, Ind.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30
a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 14, in the Palmer Funeral Home, 314 S.
Michigan Street, Lakeville. Pastor Mike Shirley, youth pastor for
Community Gospel Church in Bremen, Ind., will officiate.
Gravesite services and burial will follow in Southlawn Cemetery, South
Bend.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m.
on Wednesday, Jan. 13, in the Palmer Funeral Home, Lakeville.
