13, 1922 - Jan. 14, 2010MISHAWAKA - Lucille T. "Coby" Niezgodski, 87, of Tanglewood Trace Retirement Center in Mishawaka, IN (formerly of S. Pulaski Street in South Bend) died at 8:40 p.m. Thursday, January 14, 2010 in the Sanctuary at Holy Cross. She was born on September 13, 1922 to the late Frank and Tillie (Jankowski) Niezgodski in South Bend, IN, and was a lifelong area resident. Along with her parents; one sister, Clara Janicki; and five brothers, Albin Niezgodzki; and David, Leo, Benjamin, and Norbert Niezgodski also preceded her in death. Ms. Niezgodski had worked as a bookkeeper at both Yeager Buick for 30 years and Allied Signal for 10 years. She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Stella Niezgodski of South Bend, IN; Mary Niezgodski of Buchanan, MI; several nieces and nephews; and many lifelong friends. Lucille was a member of St. Hedwig Parish. She enjoyed bowling and was an avid golfer who played all the local golf courses. Lucille was also an avid Notre Dame, Indiana University and Chicago Cubs fan. Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 2010 at Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, IN, where a Parish Rosary will be prayed at 4:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 18, 2010 at St. Hedwig Catholic Church, with Rev. Leonard Chrobot officiating. (Please meet directly at the church) Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
