Donna Nievar, 51, of 52676 Swanson Drive, passed away at home at 8:20 a.m. on Wednesday morning, April 25, after a courageous, several-year battle against cancer. Mrs. Nievar was born on April 1, 1950, in Ashdown, Ark., to Vester and Laura May (Miller) Adams, and had lived in South Bend, Ind., since 1996, coming from Norman, Okla.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Estelle Bianca Nievar. She is survived by her husband, Billy W. Nievar; a daughter, Margaux Radcliffe of South Bend; a son, Justin Radcliffe; a daughter-in-law, Summer Radcliffe; a granddaughter, Bailey D. Radcliffe of Houston, Texas; her parents; brothers and sisters, Vester Jr., John, Janet Adams, and Iva Menaker from Oklahoma.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 28, in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 930 Park Place, Mishawaka, Ind. Those close to Donna are invited to visit one hour prior to services in the church, and from 2 to 8 p.m. today in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 17033 Cleveland Road, South Bend. Additional services will be held in Norman on Tuesday, May 1, in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Imhoff Road. Friends are invited to visit one hour prior to services. Interment will take place in Ardmore, Okla., on Wednesday, May 2. Friends and loved ones in Ardmore may visit at the Griffin, Kennedy, Watts Funeral Home in Ardmore on Monday, April 30, and one hour prior to interment on Wednesday.
