South Bend – F. Claribel “Terry” Nieter, 88, of Grace Village, Warsaw, and formerly of South Bend, died at 5:05 a.m. Saturday in Grace Village. Mrs. Nieter was born Sept 4, 1904 in Wakarusa, and resided in South Bend most of her life.

On Oct. 22, 1927, in South Bend, as Claribel Kilmer, she married Cyril F. Nieter. He died Nov. 30, 1990. Surviving are a daughter, Jackie Nieter of South Bend; a son C. Fred of Warsaw; three grandsons; and seven great-grand children. She was a member of the former Roseland Camera Club, First Brethren Church of South Bend and was a past president o fboth Lincoln School and Adams High School Parent Teachers Association.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Welscheimer Funeral Home North. Burial will be is St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 2 to 6 today in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
