Mrs. Martha Niedzielski, 77, of the Sunnybrook Nursing Home, died at 10:20 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph’s Hospital where she was admitted nine weeks ago. She was born on Sept. 28, 1885, in Germany and came to this country as a child. Her husband, Ignatius, died on Nov. 23, 1957. She is survived by two brothers, Walter Deka of South Bend and Stanley Deka of Claremont, Calif., and a sister, Mrs. Lottie Peterson of South Bend. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at Kaniewski and Sons Funeral Home. Services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday in St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church with Rev. Boleslaw Sztuczko, C.S.C., pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
