Mishawaka - Mrs. Thelma V. Nicolini, 62, of 1311 Prospect, died at 12:30 a.m. Sunday in St, Joseph Hospital, South Bend. She had been ill for a year. She was born in South Bend, on June 29, 1914, and lived in Mishawaka since 1947. As Thelma V. Powell she married Lewis F. Nicolini on June 24, 1944, in South Bend. Mrs. Nicolini formerly was the manager of the Indiana State Employment Service in South Bend and served on the Marian High School Board.
Surviving besides her husband are a daughter, Mrs. Robin Polt of Indianapolis; three sons, Christopher J. of Gary, Timothy P. of Ocala, Fla, and Mark P. of Mishawaka, and a grandchild. Mrs. Nicolini was a member of St. Joseph parish. Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. today and Tuesday in the DeVos Funeral Chapel. The family requests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.

Services for Mrs. Thelma V. Nicolini, 62, of 1311 Prospect, who died Sunday in St. Joseph Hospital, South Bend, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Church. Msgr. Curt A. Suelser, pastor will officiate and burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery here. Friend may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the DeVos Funeral Chapel, where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today. Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Josephine Powell of Mishawaka.
