Mrs. Hilda Nicolini, 61, a teacher of 17 years with School City of Mishawaka at South Side Elementary School, died at 8:15 p.m. Sunday in the Cardinal Nursing Home, South Bend, following a three-year illness. She had lived at 1616 Division Street, before moving to the nursing home a year ago. She was born on April 4, 1916 in Wyatt, and had lived in Mishawaka most of her life, coming from Wyatt. On Nov. 24, 1949 in Phoenix AZ as Hilda Wordinger, she married Armando Nicolini who died in 1974.
Surviving are a son Daniel of Tucson AZ; two daughters, Mrs. Timothy (Lora) Dietz of Michigan City and Mrs. Raymond (Bonnie) Swank of Mishawaka; a granddaughter, a brother, Harold Wordinger of North Liberty. Mrs. Nicolini was a 1947 graduate of Indiana University at Bloomington and received her masters degree from St. Marys College, South Bend in 1972. She was a member of the DeAmici Club, St. Andrews Church of Christ and was active with the American Cancer Society. Friend may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel.

Services for Mrs. Hilda Nicolini, 61, who died at 8:15 p.m. Sunday in the Cardinal Nursing Home, South Bend, after a three-year illness, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Andrews Church of Christ. Rev Dwayne Dollgener, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Bubb Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Andrews Church or to the American Cancer Society.
