Sister M. Joannes CSC, 84, of St. Mary’s Convent died there this morning. Born Jan. 5, 1887 in Cincinnati, Ohio, as Mary Emelia Neyer, she entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross in 1909. She made her profession of vows in 1912, and was assigned to household duties in schools and hospitals Illinois, Utah, California, New York and Indiana. In South Bend St. Joseph School, St. Joseph Academy, Holy Cross Convent and St. Mary’s

Friends may call in St. Mary’s Convent parlors, where a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday. Services wiil be at 7 a.m. Friday in Our Lady of Loretto Church, with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery at St. Mary’s.
