Rose M. Nemeth, 78, of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of South Bend, Ind., passed away on Wednesday, July 14, in Phoenix. Mrs. Nemeth was born on Aug. 4, 1920, in Bergenfield, N.J., and had lived in South Bend from 1944-1994 before moving to Phoenix.
She is survived by a daughter, Diane Fleming; a son, David Nemeth; four grandchildren, Joshua, Matthew, and Che Nemeth, and Zachery Fleming; and by a great-grandson, Charlie Allen. Mrs. Nemeth was a World War II Army veteran, member of the Ladies of the Moose, Deputy Grand Regent and a member of the College of Regent, and a member of the Order of Eastern Star and a past Worthy Matron.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 24, in the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, with burial to follow at Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 23, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N.
