Marie Nemeth

June 4, 1920 – December 27, 1991

Marie Nemeth, 71, of 1716 S. Leer St., died at 5:20am Friday in Memorial Hospital.  She was a homemaker.

She was born on June 4, 1920, in Canton IL, but spent most of her life in this area.  On November 23, 1940, in South Bend, as Marie Newlun, she married Wendell R. Nemeth.  He died January 23, 1975.  Surviving are three daughters, Carol Rand and Beth Mitchell, both of Mishawaka, and Dorothy Emerick of Osceola; three sons, Jack of South Bend, Wendell Jr. of Niles and Max of Mauldin NC; 13 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Sanders of South Bend.  She was a member of Timberland Bible Church.

Services will be at 10am Monday in Timberland Bible Church.  Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.  Friends may call form 5 to 7pm today and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm Sunday in Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 1201 S. Michigan St.  Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
