Emma M. Nemeth, 72, of Dragoon Trail, passed away at 12:12 p.m. Monday, April 1, in Saint Joseph Hospital, Mishawaka. Mrs. Nemeth was born on Aug. 30, 1929, in South Bend, Ind., to Amon Buzolich and Mary Baidinger. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Christine Popielski; and by two sisters, Olga Nemczewski and Justina Horvath.

On April 24, 1948, in South Bend, she married Anthony Nemeth, who also passed away Nov. 4, 1999. Mrs. Nemeth was a member of St. Bavos Catholic Church, Mishawaka. She retired from KMart in 1992 after 28 years of service. She is survived by two daughters, Laura Myers and fiancé, William Ferrier of South Bend, Susan Nemeth and fiancé, Robert Padgett of LaPorte, Ind.; one son-in-law, David Popielski; three grandsons, Keith Myers, Tim Nemeth and Andrew Popielski; and by a sister, Agnes Molnar of Weslaco, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 4. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in South Bend. Family and friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 S. Kemble Avenue. A Rosary will be said at 5:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of St. Joe County.
