Elkhart-Leonard E. Nelson, 87, of 50842 Shelburn Court, died at 2:15 a.m. Sunday in his home of an illness. Survivors include his wife. Imogene J. (Baumgartner); two daughters Linda L. Nelson of Elkhart and Frances A. Swales of Rochester Hills, Mich.; and two sisters Mary E. Friesner and Betty Hansing, both of Elkhart. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Billings Funeral Home, where friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. today.
