SOUTH BEND - Welcome George Neiderauer Sr., 89, of Ironwood Health and Rehabilitation Center, formerly of North College Street, died at 1:35 a.m. Wednesday in the nursing home. Mr. Neiderauer retired from Indiana & Michigan Electric Co. He was born Nov. 10, 1904, in Goshen, and lived in South Bend since 1915, coming from Goshen.

On May 26, 1929, in Atchison, Kan., he married Kathryn L. Tate. She survives, with a daughter, Judith A. Stockton of Owasso, Okla.; a son, Welcome G. Jr. of West Warwick, R.I.; six grandchildren; and a sister, Julia Stamm of South Bend. He was a member of St. Joseph Masonic Lodge 294, Scottish Rite Valley of South Bend, St. Paul's United Methodist Church, past president of Junior Chamber of Commerce, and a graduate of South Bend College of Commerce.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity.
