SOUTH BEND - Rosemary Neely, 61, of South Bend, Indiana,
has come to her journey's end. Her struggles ended on Wednesday,
September 10, 2008, as she crossed the threshold of death into
life. Rosemary was born on August 2, 1947, to the union of
Everett and Lucy (Wills) Neely. She leaves to cherish her
memory and dreams five sons, Michael J., Richard (Lucille),
Carlvene (Jennifer) and Tyrone (Malibu), all of South Bend,
Indiana, and Terence (Relanda) of Indianapolis, Indiana; two
daughters, Betty J. (Frank) of South Bend and Jeaneen (Koffi) of
Charlotte, North Carolina; two sisters, Helen White and
Irene Duke, and two brothers, James Neely, all of South
Bend, and Everett Neely Jr. of Gary, Indiana; 13 grandchildren
and four great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins,
and a host of other relatives and friends. Awaiting her arrival
with open arms are her parents, Everett and Lucy Neely; two
brothers, Carlvene and Johny Neely; two sisters, Lavonda Winston
and Delores Neely; and special friends, Votie Cook and
A.D. Carter. Although Rosemary will deeply and sincerely
miss the legacy she leaves behind, she will be carried on through
the memories and love of those she touched.
Funeral services for Rosemary Neely will be held at noon on Wednesday, Sept. 17, in Second Baptist Church. Friends may visit one hour prior to services in the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Alford's Mortuary.
