Mrs. Willamae Dorothy Neal

May 16, 1918 – November 9, 1983

Services for Mrs. Willamae Dorothy Neal, 65, of 1123 Miner St., who died at 8:12am Wednesday in Memorial Hospital, after an extended illness, will be at 1pm Monday at Grace A.M.E. Zion Church.  Rev. W. M. Cunningham, pastor, will officiate.  Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.  Friends may call from 5 to 9pm Sunday in Clark’s Funeral Chapel.

She was born on May 16, 1918, in Sylvester GA and had lived in South Bend for 45 years, coming form Battle Creek MI.  On January 18, 1940, in Indianapolis, she married Robert Neal, who survives with a daughter, Mrs. Sheila Neely of South Bend; three sons, Michael E. Neal of South Bend, Robert  Neal Jr. and Stanton Neal, both of Altadena CA; 10 grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Johnnie Harris and Mrs. Inez Walker, both of South Bend.  She was a member of Grace A.M.E.Zion Church where she served on the Usher Board.
