Evelyn May Nau (June 15, 1916-June 16, 1996)
SOUTH BEND - Evelyn May Nau, 80, of Munster,
Ind., formerly of South Bend, died Sunday in her home. Mrs. Nau
was born June 15, 1916, in South Bend. Her husband, Thomas T.
Nau, preceded her in death. She is survived by four daughters, Sister
Peggy of Pudacah, Ky., Kathleen Gaffigan of
Chesterton, Sally Smith of Libertyville, Ill., and Mary
Ann Johnson of Salisbury, N.C.; a son, Thomas F. of
Hammond; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two
sisters, Pauline Yandl and Mary Lucas, both of
South Bend. A daughter, Judith Ann Hanusin, preceded her
in death.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St.
Joseph Catholic Church, Hammond. Burial will be in Calumet Park Cemetery,
Merrillville. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Tuesday in Burns & Kish Funeral Home, Munster, where a prayer
service will be at 3:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made

Andrew Helling and Maude Ordiorne.
