NORTH LIBERTY - Dorothy Maxine Naragon, 92, of North
Liberty, peacefully slipped away at 4:55 a.m. Wednesday, February
27, 2008, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend, IN. She was born on
August 3, 1915, in Lakeville, IN, to Franklin and Mabel (Cowgill)
Keiser.
Mrs. Naragon is survived by four daughters,
Jeanette (Carl) Fullmer of Mishawaka, Joyce Dorsch
of Fort Wayne, Virginia (Vic) Geesaman of North Liberty,
and Esther (Dean) Shoue of North Liberty; three sons,
Ralph (Becky) Naragon of North Manchester, Dale (Pat) Naragon of
Columbia City, and Ken Naragon of Lakeville; twenty-one
grandchildren; forty great grandchildren and twelve great-great
grandchildren. A sister, Marie McClure of Wooster, OH and
brother, Walter Keiser of San Juan, Puerto Rico, also survive
her. Two infant children, Miriam and James Naragon and two
brothers, Roger and Cecil Keiser, preceded her in death. Mrs.
Naragon was a lifelong resident of North Liberty. She was a
member of the North Liberty Church of the Brethren.
A Celebration of Life Service with
fellowship following will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 1,
2008, in the North Liberty Church of the Brethren, 201 E. Market
St. North Liberty, IN. Rev. Carol Pfeiffer will officiate.
Private graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday in
Westlawn Cemetery, North Liberty. Private visitation for
Dorothy's family will be held Friday, February 29th, in the
Palmer Funeral Home, Lakeville, IN. Contributions in memory of
Dorothy Maxine Naragon may be payable to the Church of the
Brethren-Brethren Services, c/o Palmer Funeral Home, P.O Box 33,
Lakeville, IN 46536.
