MISHAWAKA - A memorial will be held for Joseph A. Name at the Sumption Prairie Church, located at 24535 Roosevelt Road, at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 18, with Pastor Rev. Charles Ternet officiating. All friends and relatives are welcome. A lunch will be served after the service in the Fellowship Hall of the church. Mr. Name died suddenly in North Bend, Ore., on Jan. 23rd of this year. Cremation has taken place and a memorial has been placed in Fairview Cemetery.

He was born in Mishawaka, Ind., on Oct. 18, 1943. He was the son of Virgil M. and Emma M. (Cambrin) Name, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth, and by a sister, Lois Brown.

He married Melba Lois Henson on Oct. 12, 1963. She survives. He is also survived by a daughter Jennifer; a son Joseph; two grandchildren, Zachary and Cambrin; and by three sisters, E. Delores Johnson of Kokomo, Ind., Barbara E. Cashen of Mesa, Ariz., and Carolyn S. Myers of South Bend, Ind.
