Mrs. Veronica
Nagy, formerly of South Bend, died at 9 a.m. Tuesday in
Parma, O., after an extended illness. She had resided in Parma
since 1942. She was born in Hungary 80 years ago and came to
South Bend from Hungary in 1910, moving from here in 1942 to live
with her daughter, Mrs. Agnes Flynn, in Parma. Surviving are the
daughter; two sons, Alex and Eugene, both of South Bend; five
grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs.
Anthony Kurtz of South Bend, and a brother John Weger
of Lakeville. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the Zahoran
Funeral Home. (note: maiden name was Nyikos)

Veronica Nagy
funeral services for Mrs. Veronica Nagy, former resident
of South Bend, who died Tuesday in Parma, O., will be at 9 a.m.
Friday in Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church. Rt. Rev. Msgr,
John S. Sabo, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in Sacred
Hart Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Nagy Jr., Norbert
and Donald Nagy, James and Joseph Kirtz and John Weger,
Jr. Friends may call in the Zahoran Funeral Home. (note:
Kirtz may be Kurtz as in obituary notice. Unsure
which spelling is correct.)
