Rita B. Nagy (April 26, 1932 - Oct. 27, 2006)

Rita B. “Renee” Nagy, 74, of South Bend, passed away at 7:20 p.m. Friday, October, 27, 2006, in her residence

On April 26, 1932, in South Bend, Rita was born to Bernard and Jenny (Goraczewski) Klosinski. Her parents, along with a stepbrother, Raymond Zielinski, and a brother-in-law, Robert Sobiech, have preceded her in death

Rita married Vincent J. Nagy on May 16, 1953, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Thomas A. Nagy of South Bend; a grandchild, Christopher Nagy; a sister, Helene Sobiech of South Bend; and a stepsister, Loretta Hauguel of South Bend

Rita worked as a touchup artist for Interstate Color Labs and Fox Photo. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the South Bend School City Alumni Association. She enjoyed working on many craft projects

Visitation will be Monday, October 30, 2006, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 South Mayflower Road, South Bend, where a Rosary will be prayed at 4:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, October 31, 2006, at 11 a.m. in Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend, at a later date
