MISHAWAKA - Norma "June" Nagy, 89, formerly of
South Bend, passed away at 7:55 p.m. on Sunday, August 24, 2008,
in the Golden Living Center, Mishawaka. June was born on May 8,
1919, to Clarence and Esta (Bowers) Steele of
Mishawaka, who have both preceded her in death. June had lived in
the area all her life. On January 26, 1952, in South Bend, she
married Geza Nagy, who preceded her in death on November 26,
2000. Also preceding her in death were siblings, Pauline Johnson
and Donna Jean Hann. June retired from the former Dodge
Corp. in 1981 after 37 years of service. She belonged to the
D.A.A., the Quarter Century Club and the D.A.M.C.O. Girls. She
also liked to visit her friends at Martin's on Bittersweet.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas Nagy of Mishawaka and Richard
(JoAnn) Baker of Orlando, FL, a granddaughter and two
great-granddaughters.
At June's request there will be no
visitation or services. Hahn Funeral Home of Mishawaka is in
charge of cremation. Memorial contributions may be made in June's
name to Pet Refuge Inc., 2300 W. 6th Street, Mishawaka, IN 46544.
