Louis G. Nagy (March 7, 1915 - June 7, 1999)
Louis George Nagy, 84, died on
Monday, June 7.
He was born on March 7, 1915, in St. Paul, Minn.,
and resided in South Bend, Ind., for almost 60 years. He was
employed for 25 years with the Studebaker Corporation, serving as
divisional representative and president of the Local 5, United
Auto Workers Union. He then worked for the Indiana National Guard
Armory before retiring to Florida in 1977, and eventually moving
to the Naples area in 1994.
Mr. Nagy is survived by his beloved wife of
60 years, Theresa ''Pat''; his daughters, Mrs. Louis (Lois) Brenner
of Naples, Fla., and Gerry Cooreman of Ft. Myers, Fla.;
seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; his sister,
Marianne Wieger of South Bend; and by innumerable other
relatives and friends.
The family will receive visitors from 7:30
to 9 p.m. today, June 10, in The Johnson-Pittman Funeral Home,
4424 E. Tamiami Trail, Naples, FL 34112.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be
celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 11, in St. John the
Evangelist Catholic Church, 625 111th Avenue North, Naples, with
the Rev. Thomas Glackin officiating.
