May 3, 1914 - April 6, 2010SOUTH BEND - Glenda Nagy, 95, passed away at 4:08 PM April 6, 2010, in Inwood Hills Estates. She was born on May 3, 1914, in Dowagiac, MI, to Clifford and Edna Mae (McCoy) Gwilt, and had lived in this area all of her life. On June 11, 1948, as Glenda Gwilt, she married Frank J. Nagy, who preceded her in death November 15, 1979. Surviving her are a daughter, Frances Nagy of Las Vegas, NV; three sisters, Katie Offerman and Jeanie McCartney, both of Detroit, MI, Eva Robertson of FL; and two brothers, Joseph Gwilt of FL and Gordon Gwilt of Dowagiac, MI. She retired from the Bendix Corp. In 1982 from the Brake Division. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 9, 2010, from 4-8 PM in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue, South Bend, IN. A committal service will be held at 10 AM Saturday, April 10, 2010, in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery Mausoleum Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice.
