Alex Nagy (Feb. 18, 1919 - May 30, 2000)
Alex Nagy, 81, of East Oakside Street,
South Bend, Ind., died at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 30, in the
Ironwood Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Alex was born on Feb. 18, 1919, in South
Bend, to Joseph and Rozalia (Szokodi) Nagy.
He married Marcelle Gibbons on Nov.
12, 1977, in South Bend. She survives. He is also survived by a
daughter, Rosalie Ann Bitter of Arlington, Texas; a son,
James Nagy of Norcross, Ga.; three grandchildren and three
great-grandchildren; a sister, Julia Farkas of South Bend; and by
a brother, James Nagy of Cocoa Beach, Fla.
Mr. Nagy was a member of the First Brethren
Church of South Bend, Moose Lodge #58, South Bend, Eagles Aerie
#2083 in Mishawaka, Ind., and the American Legion.
Visitation for Alex Nagy will be from 2 to 4
and 6 to 8 p.m. today, June 2, in the Guisinger Colonial Chapel
Funeral Home, 3718 South Michigan Street, South Bend. Cremation
will follow and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Nagy, 81, of East Oakside, who died May 30 in Ironwood Health
& Rehabilitation Center will be at 11 a.m. Friday in First
Brethren Church of South Bend. There will be no visitation.
Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
