Mrs. Stanley (Catherine) Nadolny: (South Bend Tribune 4/7/1979)
Services for Mrs. Catherine Nadolny, 85, of 330 N. Johnson, who
died at 8:45 a.m. Friday at home after an extended illness, will
be at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Rev.
Albin L. Hosinski, C.S.C., pastor, is to officiate. Burial will
be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m.
today and from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday at the St. Joseph Funeral
Home, where the rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Sunday by the
St. Ann Society of Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church. Memorial
contributions may be made to the St. Joseph County Heart Fund.
Mrs. Nadolny was a former employe of Wilson Brothers. She was
born on April 19, 1893, in South Bend and had lived all her
life in the area. As Catherine Kowalewski, on Nov. 12, 1917, in
Terre Coupe, she married Stanley Nadolny, who survives. Also
surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Clara Kati, Mrs. Antoinette
Peterson and Mrs. Adeline Wharton, all of South Bend; two sons,
Stanley Jr. and Theodore, both of South Bend; 15 grandchildren;
11 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Maciejewski of
South Bend. She was a member of the Third Order of St. Francis
and the Rosary Society, both of St. Hedwig Catholic Church, the
Apostleship of Prayer and the Goodwill Club, both of St.
Stanislaus Church.
