Dr. Kathleen Myszak, Ph.D., 53, of
Cincinnati, Ohio, died Saturday, September 29th, 2001, after
suffering a fall on a hiking trip at Hocking Hills State Park,
Logan, Ohio. She was born August 13, 1948, in South Bend,
Indiana, to Joseph Myszak and the late Dolores (Konkol)
Myszak, who preceded her in death on May 8, 2001. Surviving are
her father, Joseph; two sisters, Christine Clark, South
Bend; Sandra (Paul) Widawski, South Bend; one brother,
Thomas (Rachell) Myszak, South Bend; nieces and nephews, Sheila
Clark, Stacey Page, Sara Page, Lisa Clark, Aaron Myszak,
Apryl Widawski; great-nieces and nephews, Alaina Shaw,
Celina Jennings and Tye Thornsberry. Kathy was a
graduate of IUSB, The University of Cincinnati, Ohio, where she
received her Master's and Ph.D.
She had been self-employed as a
Psychologist. Kathy was President of the Cincinnati Academy of
Professional Psychology in 1998, President of Ohio Women in
Psychology from 1994 to 1995, and chaired the Rescue Health Care
Day in Cincinnati in April 2000. She was loved by her many
friends who she supported at all hours of the day and night. She
was a cat lover, a passionate cook, and an inspiration to others.
She was an avid traveler, seeking out many adventures. She will
be missed dearly by her family and friends.

JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. M ayflower Road, South Bend, on
Thursday, October 4th, between the hours of 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. A
wake service will be held at 7:30 in the funeral home. Service
will be held Friday, October 5th, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick
Catholic Church, 309 S. Taylor St., South Bend, IN. Burial will
follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made
to the Dr. Kathleen Myszak Fund at the Policeman's Credit Union,
1130 South Main St., South Bend, Indiana 46601.
