OSCEOLA - Wayne Eugene Myers, 58, of Osceola, IN, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, Feb 10, in his residence. Born July 22, 1949, in Mishawaka, IN, he was the son of Harry Myers and Evelyn (Guyse) Myers. They both survive.

On July 10, 1971, Wayne married Jackie (Funnell) Myers. Other survivors include a daughter, Sarah Myers of Osceola; a sister, Shirley (Don Mark) Myers of South Bend; brothers, John Myers of Syracuse, IN, and Tom (Becky) Myers of Indianapolis; a niece, Cayla Myers of Indianapolis; and a nephew, Thomas Myers of Cincinnati. Wayne was preceded in death by a son, Chad W. Myers, in 1996. Wayne loved to work in the yard, and was a member of the Eagles. He was also a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 14, in the McGann Hay, University Chapel, Edison Road. Funeral services will be held as noon on Friday in the funeral home, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Olive Cemetery in Jimtown, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Reins of Life, 55200 Quince Road, South Bend, IN 46619.
