Complications from which he had suffered a year and a half resulted in the death at 4 oclock Thursday of Martin A. Myers, who lived on R.R. 7 between the Spring Street, Mishawaka and Springbrook roads.
Mr. Myers was born March 29, 1856 on Penn
Township and had resided in St. Joseph County all his life. On
January 24, 1886, he was married to Miss Lena Wilhelm in
the St. Marys Church in South Bend.
Surviving him besides his wife are three daughters, Mrs. Ernestine Gerstbauer, Mrs. Tressie Crofoot and Miss Otilla Myers, all of Penn Township, two sisters, Mrs. Louise Pecher of Mishawaka and Miss Mary Wilhelm of Center Township, and three brothers, Frank and Joseph Myers of Penn Township and Leo of Green Township.
Those wishing to view the body may do so at the home. The funeral arrangements have not been completed.

Mishawaka - Martin A. Myers, age 69, died Thursday afternoon at 4 oclock at his home, south of Mishawaka, after an illness of 18 months. He was a lifetime resident of his county, having been born in Penn township March 29, 1856.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lena Myers, whom he married as Miss Lena Wilhelm, Jan. 24, 1886; three daughters, Mrs. Ernestine Gerstbauer, Miss Otilla Myers and Mrs. Tresa Crofoot, all of Mishawaka; three brothers, Frank, Leo and Joseph Myers, and two sisters, Mrs. Louise Pecher, of Mishawaka, and Mrs. Mary Wilhelm, of South Bend.

Martin A. Myers
The funeral of Martin A. Myers will be held Monday morning at 9:30 oclock from St. Bavos Roman Catholic church, Revs. John Keller, Otto Keller and John Bast officiating. Burial will be in St. Josephs cemetery.
Mr. Myers was a member of St. Josephs church but owing to the fact that the 40 hours devotion is in progress at this house of worship the funeral will be held from St. Bavos church.
