You could find him changing his lures and making special casting bobbers. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife. They traveled to all 50 states plus Canada, Australia and New Zealand. They really enjoyed their visits to Alaska. In his younger years, his love of music led him to playing the fiddle and violin with local bands. He and his wife enjoyed dancing at such places as the Arogon Ball Room and Silver Palace to the music of big bands. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Mary Ranstead, Mildred Trezise and Marge Beutter; and three brothers, Clarence Myers, Frederick Myers and Henry Myers Jr. Gerald is survived by his loving family, his wife of 71 years, Ruth Myers; his two daughters, Elaine Fleischauer and her husband, Roger of Wakarusa, and Susan Spradley and her husband, Robert of Upland, California; his two sons, Charles "Dan" Myers and his wife, Mary of Granger, and Kenneth Myers and his wife, Kay of Peoria, Arizona; 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
