Mrs. Elizabeth Myers, of six miles southeat of Mishawaka, died at 11:30 o’clock Tuesday night, aged 76 years. She had been failing from old age for some time, but had been bedfast but one week. She also suffered from a tumor.

She was born in Prussia, Germany, Feb. 2, 1831, and came to this vicinity from Ohipo when she was but 10 years old. In 1850 she married to Martin Myers who died in 1875.

Surviving are the following sons and daughters; Martin, Frank, William, Leo and Joseph Myers, all of this county, Mrs. Thomas Petcher, of Mishawaka, and Michael Wilhelm of South Bend. Mrs. Myers leaves 33 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Saturday morning at 10 o’clock from St. Joseph Catholic Church.
