Mrs. Anna Myers, aged 78, of rural route No. 1, died at 12:30 p.m. Saturday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Jacox, where she resided. She had been ill since June.
Born in Germany April 26, 1866, she came here 63 years ago and had resided in the farm home 40 years.
She was married in South Bend in 1894 to Leo Myers, who died in 1937. Besides the daughter, she leaves a son, Clarence Myers, of rural route No. 1, and four grandchildren.
Friends will be received in the Trulley funeral home in Mishawaka until noon Monday when the body will be taken to the home of the son. It will remain there until the funeral at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic church near Lakeville, this county. Rev. Anthony Quinlisk, pastor, will sing the mass.
Burial will be in Southlawn cemetery.
Mrs. Myers was a member of the Altar and Rosary societies of Sacred Heart church.
