SOUTH BEND - Henry L. Muth, 87, of 606 S. 30th St., died at 10:10 a.m. Monday in Ironwood Health & Rehabilitation Center after an illness. Mr. Muth retired from South Bend Lathe. He was born Jan. 27, 1907, in Cardinal, Ky., and lived in South Bend since 1944, coming from Cardinal.

On July 6, 1935, in Evansville, Ind., he married Nellie Gray. She died in 1977. He is survived by a son, Louis G. of Vista, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A daughter, Betty Lichski, died in 1979.

Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Friday in Hollis-Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. There will be no visitation.
