Sister Mary Chantal CSC, 70, an accountant at St. Mary’s Convent many years ago, died in the community infirmary at St. Mary’s Thursday. She was born in Washington DC, as Mary Jane Murphy, Feb. 10, 1880.

Funeral rites were conducted this morning in the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception and burial was in the Community Cemetery at St. Mary’s.
