Mrs. Winifred
Marie Munger, 72, formerly of 1212 Byron Dr., died at 6:15am
Sunday in Healthwin Hospital, after a five year illness.
She was born February
12, 1895, in Converse IN and lived here for 40 years coming from Logansport.
She was married November 19, 1912, in Logansport, to Hiram J.
Munger, who died in 1962. Surviving are her father, Harry
Garber of Amboy IN; a daughter, Mrs. Lester Peo of Edwardsburg
MI; two sons, James Edward of South Bend and George Raymond of
Napierville IL; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a
brother, Herbert Garber of Kokomo; and five sisters, Mrs. R. C.
Thomas and Mrs. Howard Pond, both of Amboy; Mrs. Wilbur Curless
and Mrs. Melvin Anderson, both of Wabash, and Mrs. Edgar Wright
of Marion.
Friends may call
after 7pm today at the Forest G. Hay & Son Funeral Home and
until services in the funeral home at 10am Wednesday. Rev.
Daniel C. Kechel, of the First Christian Church, officiating.
Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Converse, where
graveside services will be held at 2pm EST Wednesday. She
was a member of the First Christian Church and South Bend Chapter
2 of the O.E.S.
