Funeral Services for Rev. Andrew J. Mulreany CSC, 85, of Holy Cross House, Notre Dame, will be Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. in Moreau Seminary, with burial in Holy Cross Community Cemetery on the campus. A wake service will be Monday at 7:30 p.m. in Moreau Seminary, where friends may call after 3:30 p.m.

He was born April 1, 1905 in Lawrence, Mass. and entered Holy Cross Novitiate on July 1, 1931. He made his first profession of vows a year later, and was ordained on June 24, 1937. After his ordination he became active in parish work. From 1937 to 1957 he worked at Sacred Heart Church in New Orleans and St. Mary’s Cathedral in Austin, Texas. In 1957 he worked at St. Patrick’s Parish in South Bend, and from 1959 to 1963 he worked at St. Pius X Parish in Granger. From 1963 to 1982 he worked at St. Joseph Parish in Killeen, Texas.
