WALKERTON - Martha H. Mull, 89, of Miller's Merry Manor, formerly of 709 Ohio St., died at 8:12 p.m. Saturday in the nursing home. Mrs. Mull was born July 8, 1904, in Porter County and lived in Walkerton and Tyner most of her life.

On July 27, 1927, in Walkerton, as Martha Pope, she married Carl Wilson Steinke. He died in 1936. On July 25, 1947, in South Bend, she married Clifford L. Mull. He died in 1956. She is survived by two sons, Martin C. Steinke of Walkerton and Carl R. Steinke of Indianapolis; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Alma Daube of Walkerton. She was a member of Walkerton United Methodist Church, Lincoln Township Home Demonstration Club, Johnson Township Home Demonstration Club, Johnson Township Community Club, Walkerton Business Womens Club, LaPorte County Farm Bureau, Walkerton REAL Services, and Tyner Rebekah Lodge.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Nusbaum-Elkin Funeral Home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and one hour before services on Wednesday in the funeral home, where Rebekah Lodge will conduct services at 8 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
