Esther Mucha
Aug. 8, 1924 - May 31, 2007
SOUTH BEND - Esther Rose Mucha, 82, passed away on May 31st in
the Golden Age Nursing Home, Tomahawk, Wisconsin. She'd been a
resident there for several years.
She was born August
8, 1924, to Casimer and Rose (Modracki) Skarupinski in South Bend.
On June 3, 1944, she married Alfred D. Mucha in South Bend. They
moved to Wausau, Wisconsin, in 1946. They lived there until he
retired in January 1979, and then moved to Tomahawk. He preceded
her in death on April 30, 1998. She was also preceded in death by
her parents; her sister, Jean (Roland) Soos; and by her brother,
Harry (Stella) Skarupinski. She leaves behind a daughter, Darlene
(Ron) Frazier of Ocean Shores, Washington. She also leaves behind
a cousin, Joan (Dan) Walkowiak, and her childhood friend, Betty
Andrysiak.
A memorial will
be held on June 15 in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Tomahawk, WI,
with visitation in the church at 10 a.m. and funeral Mass at 11
a.m. Burial will be at Holy Family Cemetery, Poniatowski, WI.
Memorials may be made to a favorite charity in Esther's name.
