SOUTH BEND - Eleanor D. Moxley, 85, of O'Brien Street, died at 4 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Hospital, Mishawaka. Mrs. Moxley was a hat checker at the fomer Palais Royale. She was born June 20, 1908, in Cass County, and lived in South Bend most of her life, coming from Cass County.

Her husband, Stanley A. Moxley, died in 1967. She is survived by two daughters, Mary McDew of Savannah, Ga., and Joyce Moxley of Benicia, Calif.; two granddaughters; and two great-granddaughters.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Olivet A.M.E. Church. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Nicholsville, Mich. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today in Clark's Funeral Chapel.
