Charles L. Mountain

February 26, 1879 – January 19, 1948

Charles L. Mountain, aged 69, of 3315 Crumstown Avenue, died suddenly while at work at 7:30am today in the Bendix Production Division of Bendix Aviation Corporation Plant.  Coroner Marion W. Hillman attributed the death to a heart attack.

He was born in Starke Co OH, February 26, 1879, and came here 16 years ago from East Liverpool OH.  He was married in 1905 in Canton OH to Grace E. Gailing, who survives. He had been employed by the Bendix Corporation 16 year.  Survivors besides his widow are a daughter, Mrs. Letha Mills, South Bend a dn a grandson, Orton Mills, South Bend.

Friends may call after 7pm Tuesday in the Orvis Funeral Home.  This funeral will take place at 2pm Thursday in the Church of the Nazarene, in charge of Rev. K.V., Batman, pastor.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.  The body will like in the church from 1 to 2pm Thursday.
