SOUTH BEND – Mary L. Mossey, 74, of 59484 Culver Road died about 8 p.m. Sunday in Apache Junction, Ariz. after suffering an apparent stroke. Mrs. Mossey was spending the winter in Arizona. She was born Jan. 17, 1911 in Mishawaka.

On Oct 1, 1937 in Mishawaka as Mary L. Schalliol she married J. Lloyd Mossey. He survives with a daughter, Rosemarie Owens of Redwood City, Calif.; a son Richard Allen Mossey of Federal Way, Wash.; a grandchild and five brothers, Richard J. and Robert E. Schalliol, both of Mishawaka, Paul M.C. Schalliol of Washington, Ind., Herbert C. Schalliol of Denver and Edgar R. Schalliol of Medaryville.

Cremation will take place at Kubler Mortuary in Apache Junction. A memorial service will be at a later date in St. Andrew’s Church of Christ. Mrs. Mossey was a member of the church.
