SOUTH BEND - Services for Rodney Donell Morton, 20, of 3201 W. Jefferson Blvd., who died Tuesday afternoon in his home, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Alford's Mortuary. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call an hour before services in the funeral home.

The death was ruled a suicide by Dr. Michael O'Connell, St. Joseph County deputy coroner. Morton was being sought by police on a murder charge in connection with the shooting death of Shanna McCollough, 17, who was killed June 21 in her Ford Street home. Mr. Morton was born June 11, 1975, in South Bend. He is survived by a daughter, Tysharee Symone Culp of South Bend; his mother, Waffer Morton of South Bend; two brothers, Andrew and Anthony, both of South Bend; and a maternal grandmother, Patty Fuller of South Bend.
