SOUTH BEND - Frank J. Morrow, 80, of South Bend died
Thursday evening in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. Franks
passion in life was to feed everyone. Even during his illness he
was trying to give his food away. Even the ducks he loved
couldn't get away without a belly full. He started as a cook in
the Navy during World War II and continued his passion to feed as
the owner of Morrows Restaurant in River Park, which he
successfully ran for 36 years. Frank was a former advisory board
member of First Source Bank-River Park, past president of River
Park Businessmen and South Bend/Mishawaka Area Chamber of
Commerce, United States Chamber of Commerce, Indiana and National
Restaurant associations and South Bend Turners He currently is a
member of South Bend Elks lodge 235 and American Legion Post 303,
Frank was born June 23, 1927 in South Bend to the late Frank and
Mary (Rosiejewski) Mrowczynski.
He married Tula Ball who survives
along with a daughter, Christine( Bill) Vinton of
Indianapolis; a son, Dale (Debbie) Morrow of Sister Lakes,
Michigan; two grandsons, Dominic (Jennifer) Fragomeni,
Samuel Fragomeni; two brothers: Ted of California and Al of South
Bend. Two sisters, Alice Sieczko and Myra Botka and
two brothers, Ed and Matt Mrowczynski preceded him in death
Services will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday March
2 in the HICKEY Funeral Homes 17131 Cleveland Road with Rev. Neil
Ryan, CSC pastor of Little Flower Catholic Church officiating.
Cremation will follow. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until
services Sunday in the Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to
Little Flower Food Pantry or Northern Indiana Food Bank.
