"Allie," as known by her friends,
82, of South Bend, Ind., passed away at 3:40 p.m. Sunday, Oct.
27, in her home. Allie was the daughter of the late Fred and Mary
(York) Green of Rochester, N.H.
On April 10, 1939, she married her only
love, Alexander A. Morrison of Auburn, Maine, who preceded her in
death on June 13, 1973. She was also preceded in death by two
sons, Barry G. Morrison in 1985 and Arnold "Scott"
Morrison in 2001; and by three sisters and three brothers. Allie
is survived by four sons, James "Billy" Waldren and
Alexander "Sandy" Morrison, both of Orlando, Fla.,
Albert "Skippy" (Bev) Morrison and Toby T. Morrison of
Hardwick, Vt.; a daughter, Bonnie (Billy) Williamson of
South Bend; 38 grandchildren, 75 great-grandchildren and 14
great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Gladys "Mickey"
Garland of Laurel, Md., and Charlotte "Poppy" Doran
of Murphy, N.C.; and by a brother, Leslie "Jimmy" Green
of Madison, Maine.
There will be no visitation or services.
Cremation has taken place. The Kaniewski Funeral Home, South
Bend, is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be
made to Hospice of St. Joseph County, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South
Bend, IN 46637-3437. Allie wrote poetry for many friends and
family. The beauty of her poetry shows the beauty of her heart.
