SOUTH BEND - Ms. Minnie Lee Morris, 52 of North Brookfield Street, South Bend passed away on Monday, July 21, 2008, in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend. Minnie was born on February 14, 1956, in Wynn, Arkansas to the union of John Henry and Mary Louise Morris. Coming from Chicago, Illinois in 1992, she moved to South Bend until 1995, when she moved to Arkansas. Coming from Arkansas in 1996, she returned to South Bend. She was a Jehovah witness. She was preceded in death by her father, John Henry Morris Sr.; one brother, John Henry Morris Jr.; and one son, Antoine Morris. Minnie leaves behind to cherish her memory, two sons, Kristopher and Korelli Morris; one grandson, Devontae Kind, all of South Bend; her mother, Mary Louise Steele of Wynn, Arkansas; one sister, Izola "ivory" Morris of South Bend; six brothers, Tony Morris, Hermon Morris and Robert Earl Morris, all of Wynn, Arkansas, Anthony Baxter of West Memphis, Arkansas, Wardell Baxter of South Bend and Tommie Cobb of San Marcos, Texas; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Alford's Mortuary on Saturday, July 26, 2008. Friends may call one hour prior to service at the chapel.
