Hazel M. Moreno, 65, of Garway Common, South Bend, Ind., died at 7:51 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15, in St. Joseph's Medical Center. She was born on Aug. 10, 1932, in Grovertown, Ind., to Ruben and Dorothy Blad.

Hazel is survived by two daughters, Cindy Rae Bradford of South Bend and Star L. Ryan of Niles, Mich.; two sisters, Virginia Moreno of North Liberty, Ind., and Penny Medina of South Bend; two brothers, Gene Blad of Bryan, Ohio, and Glen Blad of South Bend; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and by many nieces and nephews.

Services will be at noon on Thursday, Nov. 20, in the New Covenant Baptist Church, 1819 Prairie Avenue, South Bend, with Rev. Nathaniel Bradford officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to time of services in the church. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the church. The Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood, is in charge of arrangements
