MISHAWAKA - Louise G. Morel, 102, of Mishawaka, died Friday, September 19, 2008, in Fountainview Place. She was born in Chicago, Illinois, on April 21, 1906, to Louis and Mary (Bauer) Helmboldt, who preceded her in death. Louise married Michael J. Morel in Chicago on June 16, 1928, and he preceded her in death on November 23, 1972. She was also preceded by her daughter, Mary Lou Bauder, and her husband, Calvin, in 2005. Surviving are her son, Michael E. Morel of Woodstock, Georgia; four grandchildren, James (Janice) Bauder, Cindy Bauder, Michael P. (Stephanie) Morel and Matthew (Brianna) Morel; and five great-grandchildren, Marc, Kristen, Hannah, Bailey and Emma. Louise was a member of Peace Lutheran Church of Granger. She was also a member of the Tea Time Club of Townhouses East.

Friends may visit with the family on Friday, September 26, 2008, in Bubb Funeral Chapel from 5-7 p.m. and one hour prior to services on Saturday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 2 p.m. Saturday, with Rev. Steven Mischke officiating.
