Brother Narcissus CSC, of the Congregation
of Holy Cross, died at Notre Dame yesterday, after a brief
illness. He was born in Iowa in 1830; received the habit Aug. 15,
1856; and was professed Aug. 15, 1861. His worly name was Michael
Moran.
The funeral was held this morning at Notre Dame.
