NEW CARLISLE - Kermit E. Moon, 81, of Tarpon Springs, Fla., formerly of Mishawaka, died Sunday in Helen Ellis Memorial Hospital, Tarpon Springs.

Mr. Moon retired from Bendix Corp.

He was born Sept. 19, 1913, in Mishawaka and moved from New Carlisle to Florida in 1976.

He is survived by his wife, Dora Moon of Tarpon Springs; a daughter, Sharon L. Levit of Littleton, Colo.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marguerite Hawblitzel of Palm Harbor, Fla., and Mildred Ludwig of South Bend; and two brothers, Cecil of South Bend and Gerald of Spencer, Iowa.

He was a veteran of World War II.

National Cremation Society, Holiday, Fla., handled arrangements.
