MISHAWAKA - Fannie I. Mitchell, 75, of Russell Avenue, died at 10 a.m. Tuesday in her home. Mrs. Mitchell was employed by South Bend Plastics as a supervisor for 10 years. She was born Jan. 23, 1921, in Coral, Mich., and lived in Mishawaka most of her life.

On Oct. 6, 1952, in South Bend, as Fannie I. Bassett, she married Marion Mitchell. He survives with four daughters, Lorene Jordan of Washington Courthouse, Ohio, Pat Waelbroeck of Memphis, Tenn., and Colleen Mitchell and Fannie Richards, both of Mishawaka; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Thelma Guttkey of Pensacola, Fla., and Myrtie Reynolds of Riverside, Ill.; and a brother, Gordon Bassett of Howard City, Mich.

There will be no services or visitation. Hahn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc.
